Laparoscopic surgery or minimally invasive surgery is primarily used in surgeries. Gynecology, gallbladder, intestinal, and laparoscopic procedures use several incisions ranging in size from 0.5 to 1 cm, each referred to as a “port.” Through these ports, specialized instruments and a laparoscope – a specialized camera – are inserted using rollers, and are used for diagnostic purposes, detecting problems that cannot be detected by imaging.
