Scope of work
The Internal Medicine Department focuses on the prevention, diagnosis, and medical management of diseases. The diagnostic and therapeutic service will be of the highest standards using an Evidence Based Approach.
The internal medicine Department provides the following treatment but not limited to:
- Patients’ consultation
- Treatment of all lifestyle disorders like diabetes, Hypertension, Dyslipidemia, Obesity.
- Treatment of all infectious diseases (Bacterial, Viral, Fungal, Parasitic etc).
- Treatment of all endocrinal disorders like thyroid, pituitary, Adrenal, PCOD etc.
- Treatment of rheumatological disorders.
- Treatment of Cardiac, Neurological, Hematological, Respiratory Disorders.
- Detection of various cancers at the early stage and follow up for optimal care.
- Occupational health and screening.
The internal medicine Department provides the following Diagnostic/ Services but not limited to:
- Radiology investigation (chest X-ray and Ultrasound)
- Electrocardiogram (ECG)
- Spirometry
- Nebulisation
- Vaccinations
- Intramuscular and Intravenous injections.
