Dr. Ammar Alahmad is a highly qualified Specialist Cardiologist with over 10 years of clinical expertise in the diagnosis, treatment and management of a broad spectrum of cardiovascular illnesses. He graduated from Al Baath University, Syria, with a Doctor of Medicine degree, and subsequently received the Syrian Board Certificate in Cardiovascular Diseases. He is licensed by the Department of Health (DOH), Abu Dhabi and practices at Royal Medical Center One Day Surgery.

He has worked throughout his career at top healthcare institutes in the UAE and Syria offering non-invasive and invasive cardiac therapy. He is experienced in complete cardiac examination, echocardiography, stress testing, ambulatory electrocardiographic and blood pressure monitoring, and diagnosis and therapy of coronary artery disease, heart failure, hypertension, valvular heart disease, and cardiac arrhythmias. He also has substantial expertise in pre-operative cardiac evaluation and sports cardiology.

He has extensive experience in performing cardiac catheterization operations including diagnostic coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) and temporary & permanent pacemaker placement. He is dedicated to providing evidence-based, patient-centered care using advanced diagnostic procedures for accurate diagnosis and best treatment results.
